Greetings musicians!
I have been tasked with creating a blog for a college course I’m
currently taking. It is this reason, in
addition to being a bit of an overachiever, I am creating this blog. I intend for this to be a very fun and
educating ride for a few reasons. I will
obviously be learning about blogging from my class, but this blog will
hopefully put me in touch with the multiple other guitarists out there. I have found that some teachers just aren’t
able to connect with their students when teaching how to play the guitar. I have often felt I can’t be the only one who
still has some troubles with improving my skill. This is a place where we can
all share what knowledge we have gained while on the road to becoming a “virtuoso”
guitar player. I will also be posting
about different topics, articles, and even collectible guitar info, so it will
be a barrage of awesome-ness (not a word, I know, but this blog will be pretty
awesome)! I truly hope you all enjoy reading and commenting on my blog, as much
as I plan to enjoy creating and evolving it.

I used to enjoy strumming on the guitar but I was more into folk and gospel genres. It was a good hobby and I wish I had time to get back into it.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like being a musician. I played the bass in a band during the 80's and those were the most memorable days of my life. I know the guitar can be even more challenging than the bass being that you have to play chords but I remember having a blast playing with my guitar band members. Nothing gets the creative juices flowing like being a musician. Whether you're in a band or just jammin by yourself in your garage it makes for a wild ride.
ReplyDeleteMy family had me growing up with classical instruments but I did get to enjoy my brothers guitar when I was younger. I was a bit clumsy with the strings back then but I always love the acoustic feel of music! This will be a fun and interesting road for this topic as it expands, I can't wait.
